What we process, and why

Contact form. When you write to us, we process the name, email address, optional phone number and message you enter. We use them only to answer your request. The message reaches us by email through our mail provider SMTP2GO.

Server logs. Our web server temporarily records technical data such as your IP address, the time of the request and the page requested, so that we can run and secure the site.

Usage statistics. We use Umami, an analytics tool that does not set cookies, to count visits and see which pages are used. The script is loaded from umami.agedio.ch.

Where your data is stored

This website is hosted on servers of Hetzner in Germany. Where a service provider processes data outside Switzerland or the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell your data. Our service providers (hosting and email delivery) process it only on our behalf.

We keep enquiries as long as needed to handle them and to meet legal retention duties, then delete them.

Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where it applies, the GDPR, you can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy, and you can object to its processing. Write to info@simplebits.ch.

You may also complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Changes

We update this notice when the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
